Photo: On the road, Thursday afternoon. Later on, to reduce rascallyness, we moved Milo to the back and Wiley up front.
Photo: Hotel in Palm Coast, FL, before leaving Friday morning. Basically we just slept there and ate the free breakfast before heading out again.

Photo: First "ride" of the weekend, glass elevator at the airport's Marriot.
Photo: Aunt Cathy found us where we had corralled the kids at the far end of baggage claim.

Photo: Can't remember if this was staged or not. On way out of airport.
Photo: Entering the "world" - on the way to the Expo at ESPN Wide World of Sports, for race packet pickup.

Photo: We made it to Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground!
Photo: Saturday morning, at like 3:30 AM. The runners pose for a picture before they catch a bus to the starting line. They are wearing outer layers that Cathy had bought at a thrift store, so that they could be tossed into donation piles during the race.
Photo: The boys and I caught a bus at 8:30, with hopes of seeing the runners before the finish line.

Photo: Found a spot near the 12 mile mark. You had to cross the race in order to get to the finish line (which wasn't all that easy to do), so we hung out on the opposite side for a while.
Photo: By chance, like 5 minutes later, we saw Stew run by! He gave us High 5s and kept on going. Had to keep up with the ponytails he was following... (he is there between the blond and the brunette in the pink tutu).
Photo: We waited, trying to catch Cathy, but by the time we were able to dart across the race to the other side, I got the text that she'd already finished!
Photo: Wiley took one of me before I got the text. The sign the lady behind me was holding said "Tuff girls don't give up" or something. And also "Goofy Kicks Mickey's (Beep)" - which refers to the Goofy Challenge, where you run BOTH the 1/2 marathon and the full marathon, back to back.
Photo: After a bit of cell phone tag, the boys and I finally joined up with them, and caught a big bus back to the campground.
