Photo: Two MCW members, Phil Brown and David Fry, had pieces in "Native Species", a group exhibition of artists working in wood. This eye-catching sculpture by Foon Sham was by far the largest piece in the show. Phil Brown helped him collect and process the wood, which came from some of the trees cut down to construct the Strathmore Music Center.

Photo: Sometimes you have to get a little lower to truly enjoy Phil's work.

Photo: Wonderful shapes and great wood makes for a beautiful display.
Photo: Lynda Smith-Bugge talks about her work. She is a Friend of MCW, and that center piece is turned!
