Photo: pod bowl - here splattered with copper carb wash and green underglaze as a stain, the bright green will not survive high fire, it just shows me where I'm throwing the copper wash - ah what a fun mess Ode to Jackson Pollock pots are =P

Photo: I've been wanting to capture the contrast of what ceramic art looks like before it's fired. These defender mugs have been bisque' fired and glazed, they are on shelf waiting for the final cone 6 fire.

Photo: before the final cone 6 fire
Photo: after the final cone 6 fire ( the 3rd defender mug is still in another kiln )
Photo: worked out a plan to deal with my abhorrence to "flat" while I'll admit I like flat as a swamp or a beach, it's flat as a table or a floor that I seem to fight with
Photo: "flat" on their backs, platelets defender series, raw clay drying ( + tiny test platelet has been bisque' fired )
Photo: three wheel thrown spheres drying enough to be pliable rather then squishy
Photo: 1st sphere exploded, 2nd sphere waiting its turn :)
