Photo: My 1st batch of test tiles for underglaze and glaze combos.
Photo: I don 't know why I photographed these, they are tiny most are 2" tall. I think I just wanted a record and I'm interested in how what I see is different from the camera's "eye".
Photo: 3" tall test tile / cup with a copper wash
Photo: I like what the copper did to the "white" glaze here :)
Photo: 3 legged test bottle, dover white slip and dark slip painted on green surfaces.
Photo: 3 legged bottle, detail of feet and dark slip carved into
Photo: cobalt wash test bottle.. ran onto cookie :) and I'm leaving it as it is, it's quite funny somehow. I guess I should delete these tests before I post on my art blog, but learning about glazes is part of the process. Tired of pottery folks saying how much they dislike glazing. I love it, glazing is an art upon art.
