Photo: Driving to the Fishin' Hole from Ventura Blvd
Photo: Heading up Coldwater Canyon Boulevard south to the intersection of Coldwater Canyon and Mulholland Drive heading to the fishin' hole.
Photo: Intersection of Coldwater Canyon and Mulholland Drive. Make a 90 degree right turn onto Franklin Canyon Dr. There is no street sign “Franklin Canyon.”
Photo: Road signs read “Road Closed 800 Feet” “Sunset to Sunrise”; this is the park entrance. Do NOT make a “U-Turn” for this will bring you onto Mulholland Drive instead of Franklin Canyon.
Photo: If you make it here....you've found Myers Lake!
Photo: Wooden Rail seen in Return to Mayberry TV movie as Andy Taylor returned to Mayberry. Just there in the distance on the left is the parking area you need to visit to see the TAGS opening credits location.
Photo: View looking down from the parking area to the path Andy and Opie walked in the opening credits of TAGS.
Photo: View looking down from the parking area to the path Andy and Opie walked in the opening credits of TAGS. Another view with nobody in the photo.
Photo: This is Mayberry holy ground. Andy and Opie walked right down this path and headed to the fishin' hole.
Photo: This position is very close to the place the cameras were filming from in the opening credits of TAGS. To the near right is where Opie would have thrown his rock in the lake. If you watch long enough..he may come around that corner.
Photo: Jan throwing a rock into the area where Opie threw the rock in the opening credits.

Photo: Game wardens office when Andy and Helen went fishing without a license and had to pay the fine
Photo: Random view of the Lake.
Photo: I believe this is from the dam look back toward the place where Opie would have thrown the rock there in the overgrown are at the top of the photo.
Photo: Some where on this side is where Howard was when he caught old Sam. Floyd was fishing from this bank. The dam is to the left of this photo.
Photo: This is the same bank area look more toward the dam which is over to the upper right side of this photo.
Photo: I believe this may have been the location where Mr. McBeevee was up the telephone pole, climbed down and got in his truck.
Photo: Another picture of Mr. McBeevee's pole. Also you can see that walk-over platform to the right. This is seen in behind the scenes photos of the Mountain Wedding episode with Don Knotts in his wedding dress sitting just on the right side of the wall.
Photo: Somewhere near here is where the Darlings were standing when Charlene and Dud got married proper by the preacher and Barney came running up in his wedding dress.
