DeWalt MBF

Photo: I've always like the utility of a radial arm saw...
Photo: I picked up this 9" MBF off Craigslist for $80. Not too bad of shape for being a little over 50 years old.
Photo: The motor runs, but the bearings were a little rough.
Photo: And of course the table needed a little work...
Photo: So...
Photo: Time to rebuild an old DeWalt MBF!

Here it is all sandblasted and ready for prep.
Photo: The saw was torn down and all the parts sandblasted.
Photo: Everything I didn't want painted was taped off...

Photo: And then the primer.

Photo: I used a textured paint from Rustoleum (I think...), the color was Sea Green.

Photo: In order to keep the table from being so darned high on the miter bench, I inset downabout 2 1/2". With new table installed, it will be even with the 12" compound miter saw.
Photo: Still needs to be tuned up a bit, but at least it's all back together...
Photo: I also need to add the dust collection...
