Photo: We were expecting a blockade this morning, so I went to the bridge to get some photos. As you can see, it was clear.

Photo: Then the Police (and an Ambulance) blocked the road and started to divert traffic. That was confusing, since the Police typically break-up roadblocks, not start them. I discovered later that they were closing it for a bicycle race.

Photo: I was fighting my way through the sticker bushes when I noticed this guy coming
Photo: He'd better watch where he lands!
Photo: He landed in a. . .hey, is that a racetrack?
Photo: Yep, definitely a race track. Hmm. . .
Photo: Trash is a way of life here. The river bank is all dump-sites, where trucks have emptied their loads of trash.

Photo: Turns out there were people living here too. The mess in the foreground is the back of their shed.
Photo: The house is on the left. See the lady in the middle, with the white hat and a blue washtub? They have three doghouses too.
Photo: The whole scene. Her sheep are grazing to the left of the big machine.
