Floating Dock Construction Pictures

Photo: Basic framing and heading out for the barrels that I got years ago from the chevron up the street. They came with soap in them for their car wash.  They floated my original dock for years and I am recycling them here.  They worked perfectly
Photo: Cantilever stairs, I should have used 2 x 12 for the hand rail, because as it turned out the vertical grain in these was not enough to make them strong enough.

Photo: Basic framing for bumpers was Alaska Yellow cedar. 3/8" rubber bent to make a hollow space, worked perfectly
Photo: There is my old 1946 magic bus that I lived in from 1969 to 1971  in the back ground left. Need to dig it out and clean it up
