Photo: So, here I am taking a photo of a steam vent (or fumerole), and I hear a clickety-clack
Photo: It's an elk crossing the street!
Photo: Doe, a deer, a female deer! She paid me and the kids no heed.
Photo: Then we see another, this time a male elk.

Photo: By Old Faithful, Dulce saw a little friend
Photo: Yellowstone is famous for it's megafauna, but don't forget the little guys.

Photo: Dulce saw this little guy on the Geyser Hill Trail
Photo: Nice shot, Dulce!
Photo: Ranger Jackie shows Anya another animal
Photo: A marmot basking on a rock.
Photo: Ranger Jackie pointing out some trout
Photo: We got up early the next morning, as I was told dawn would be great for animal viewing.
Photo: Why is this car stopped in the middle of... OH BOY!
Photo: I see a buffalo! I see a buffalo!
Photo: There's my car mirror for perspective.
Photo: The park rules say "Approaching within 100 yards (91 m) of bears or wolves or within 25 yards (23 m) of other wildlife is prohibited." I guess the buffalo can't read.
Photo: At this time Anya is screaming at Grant to wake up and see the buffalo
Photo: After that buffalo left, we saw somebody at a picnic area!
Photo: I know they are not really "buffalo", but "bison". I think most people know I'm not talking about an African or Asian Water Buffalo.
