Service Team Installs Playground in Kyrgyzstan

Photo: Service team members from Bakersfield, Calif. were invited by the Lutheran Church Concordia in Kyrgyzstan to install playground equipment on the premises of Vorontsovka church.

Photo: About 15 adults and 30 children gathered at Vorontsovka church on October 23 to thank the service team and their home congregation, St. John’s Lutheran Church, Bakersfield, Calif. for the playground installation.
Photo: The guests were taken to the town of Tokmok to see a mobile medical trailer which has been working in Kyrgyzstan since 1999. The mobile medical trailer has enough room for 2 dentists, a gynecologist, a pediatrician and a laboratory.
